Miretti

Lazio Target Juventus Midfielder Miretti as Club Consider Sale

Start

Fabio Miretti could leave Juventus in the coming weeks, as the club weigh up offers for the young midfielder to help generate funds during the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old from Pinerolo has seen his playing time increase slightly under Luciano Spalletti, often featuring as a substitute in recent matches. While the Juventus coach values him as a dependable option in a relatively thin midfield, financial priorities could dictate a different outcome. The Bianconeri are reportedly willing to consider a sale if an offer of around €15 million arrives.

Miretti, who came through the Juventus academy and has a contract running until 2028 worth approximately €1 million net per year, remains highly regarded within the club. However, his future may lie elsewhere if a suitable bid is made.

Lazio and Others Showing Interest

La Stampa report how Lazio have shown long-standing interest in the versatile midfielder, but their only enquiry so far has been for a loan deal — an option Juventus are not entertaining. The club’s preference is for a permanent transfer that would contribute directly to their financial planning.

In addition to Lazio, Napoli and several foreign clubs are also monitoring Miretti’s situation. Despite the speculation, the player is not actively seeking an exit from Turin. Nonetheless, should an opportunity arise where he could play a central, consistent role, he would be open to evaluating his options.

For now, Miretti remains part of Spalletti’s rotation — but Juventus’ stance suggests his future could depend on whether financial necessity outweighs sporting continuity.
