Tonali, born in 2000, is already tied to Newcastle until 30 June 2028 on a lucrative contract earning him seven million euros net per year plus a possible two million in bonuses. Any further extension would serve to keep him almost completely out of reach for potential suitors.
In recent days, Juventus’s interest has reportedly intensified, with constant contact maintained between the two parties since January 2025. At one stage, Juventus were rumoured to be the closest club to acquiring his services, yet formal negotiations never truly began.
