Fabrizio Romano has dismissed recent speculation suggesting that Jonathan David could leave Juventus during the January transfer window. Speaking on his YouTube channel, the Italian journalist addressed reports that had circulated over the past 24 hours, originating from Belgium before spreading through France and Italy.
“I wanted to touch on a few more topics, as many questions have come in lately,” Romano explained. “There’s been a rumour about Juventus striker Jonathan David and a potential move away from the club in January. But after checking from both the club’s side and the player’s side, I can confirm the story is being denied by everyone involved.”
According to Romano, both Juventus and those close to the Canadian forward maintain a firm stance: there are no plans for David to leave the club mid-season. As of early November, his position in Turin remains fully protected, with neither party showing any intention of parting ways.
