Como v Juventus

Serie A | Como 2-0 Juventus: Player Ratings

Start

Juventus were left humbled by an exceptional Como side, losing 2-0 and seeing their unbeaten run come to an end, with questions marks over Igor Tudor’s future at the club.

Juventus

Di Gegorio: Good stop to deny a Morata effort from range and then performed another superb reaction stop on the ’33 mark. Parried away a decent effort from range as the second half started. Deserted by his defence for Como’s second. Perhaps could have done better, but it’s hard to be too critical of him when the defending was so abject. 5.5/10

Kalulu: Out of position on the Como opener, but it’s worth saying that the cross from Nico Paz was sublime. A couple of crosses in the second half but he still looks uncomfortable at RB/RWB. 5/10

Rugani: Perhaps could have done better on the opening goal, all too easily outmanoeuvred. Performed an important block just as the first half came to a close but overall, he looked under pressure for much of the match. 5/10

Kelly: Picked up a very early booking which tempered his performance. Made a great tackle to deny Paz when 1v1, but was stranded half way up the pitch when Nico Paz scored the second. 5/10

Cambiaso: Felt quite anonymous until he was booked on the ’55 mark. Left for dead when Nico Paz scored the Como second. Poor outing. 5/10

Thuram: Better in the attacking third but still was in and out of the game. A really average performance, overall. 5.0/10

Locatelli: Some very wayward passing at times. Really seemed to struggle for periods as Como pressed high and often. 5/10

Koopmeiners: Crafted a great chance that David capitalised on, but he was just offside. Fired his free-kick just wide before heading an effort right at Butez. Arguably the best of the midfield trio, but that’s not saying much. 5.5/10

Conceicao: Cut in multiple times, but blazed his efforts wide or over the post. Slipped over at least 3 times when in a promising position. 5/10

David: Held up play well at times and tried to bring  his teammates into the game but didn’t really seem on the wavelength at times.  5/10

Yildiz: Played a great through ball that Thuram should have done better with. Put a half chance just wide of the far post when Juve were breaking and created a good opening with a precise that Koopmeiners headed at the keeper 6.0/10
