Serie A | Fiorentina 1-1 Juventus: Player Ratings

Start

Juventus were controversially denied a penalty and had to settle for a rather tepid 1-1 draw against a Fiorentina side still searching for their first win of the season.

Juventus

Di Gegorio: Pulled out a couple of good saves but could do little on the Fiorentina equaliser. Shaky in the second half. 5.5/10

Kalulu: Back in heart of defence and did well enough, managed to get forward at times and get in a couple of decent crosses. 6.0/10

Kelly: Sat in the centre of the defence and did pretty well, considering he was coming back from an injury. 6.0/10

Koopmeiners: Once again deployed in defence and while he wasn’t outstanding, he did the simple things well enough. 5.5/10

Kostic: A quiet opening half and then he sprung to life out of nowhere to score a sensational goal to break the deadlock. 6.5/10

Thuram: Very quiet first ’45, could have done better on the Fiorentina equaliser. Rightfully subbed off. 5.0/10

Locatelli: Looked pretty subdued in the first half. Failed to really make an impact on the game. 5.5/10

Cambiaso: Every decision he made in the opening ’45 felt like the wrong one. Wasn’t that much better in the second. Mediocre. 5.0/10

Yildiz: Had some good moments, including one where he would have done better to pass to Vlahovic. Covered a lot of the pitch but couldn’t get a foothold in the game. 6.0/10

Mckennie: Another workmanlike performance without doing anything to really distinguish himself in the opening exchanges, Better as the game went on and forced a good save from De Gea. 5.5/10

Vlahovic: Left Mari for dead and should have had a very clear and obvious penalty. Wasted a great chance to open the scoring, but provided the assist to Kostic for the first Juve goal. 6.0/10
