Serie A | Juventus v Lazio: Probable starting lineups

With Spalletti banned from the touchline, Juve return to a back three to face table-topping Lazio.
Formation

Juventus host surprise Serie A leaders Lazio at the Allianz Stadium tonight, needing to bounce back from the stumble at Cagliari.

Kick-off in Matchday 7 is at 20.45, with the game live on DAZN. The Bianconeri come off the back of their Europa League trip to Celta Vigo and are looking to return to winning ways after dropping points in Sardinia. Gattuso’s Lazio, meanwhile, sit level with Inter at the top of the table after six games.

Spalletti will not be on the bench. He is suspended following his confrontation with Pisacane after the Cagliari game, and will watch from the stands, with assistant Domenichini taking charge on the touchline.

Juventus

Juventus are expected to go with a 3-4-2-1. Vicario starts in goal behind a back three of Kalulu, Bremer and Lucumi, who is expected to win out over Kelly for the final defensive spot. Celik and Cambiaso provide the width, with Sarr and Douglas Luiz in the middle of the park. McKennie and Nico Gonzalez support Kolo Muani, who leads the line after scoring in Spain. Woltemade, who also found the net at Celta Vigo, is set to begin on the bench.

Juventus probable XI (3-4-2-1): Vicario; Kalulu, Bremer, Lucumi; Celik, Sarr, Douglas Luiz, Cambiaso; McKennie, Nico Gonzalez; Kolo Muani.

Lazio

Gattuso is tipped to stick with a 4-3-3. Mandas is in goal, with Floriani, Doekhi, Provstgaard and Nuno Tavares in defence. Frattesi, Belahyane and Taylor make up the midfield. Up front, Noslin is the focal point after laying on two assists last time out, flanked by Isaksen and Zaccagni, while Pinamonti waits for another chance following his first goal for the club.

Lazio probable XI (4-3-3): Mandas; Floriani, Doekhi, Provstgaard, Nuno Tavares; Frattesi, Belahyane, Taylor; Isaksen, Noslin, Zaccagni.
