Juventus are exploring potential moves ahead of the January transfer window, and one idea gaining traction is the inclusion of Tarik Muharemovic as part of a deal to bring Davide Frattesi to Turin.
Following their final match of 2025, a hard-fought win away at Pisa, the Bianconeri are preparing to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season. The club do not plan major overhauls, but coach Luciano Spalletti and the management are keen to make targeted additions, particularly in midfield, to maintain momentum after three consecutive league victories.
Frattesi a Key Target
Sky Sport Italia (as quoted by IlBianconero) report that Frattesi remains a leading name on Juventus’ shortlist. However, Inter’s valuation of the midfielder continues to be high, forcing the Bianconeri to look creatively at possible formulas to make a deal work. One such idea is the involvement of Tarik Muharemovic, currently at Sassuolo, as a potential counterpart.
The Bosnian defender, born in 2003, has been impressing this season and has attracted interest from several clubs, including Inter — Frattesi’s current side — and Premier League outfit Bournemouth, who may consider a summer move. Juventus, who still hold a 50% sell-on clause on Muharemovic, could leverage that stake in negotiations with Inter to lower the financial cost of a Frattesi deal.
Muharemovic’s Rise at Sassuolo
Muharemovic has enjoyed a strong campaign under Fabio Grosso, continuing his growth after playing a key role in Sassuolo’s return to Serie A. He recently renewed his contract with the Neroverdi until 2031 and has contributed with two goals and two assists so far this season. His latest came in the 1–1 draw against Bologna, underlining his ability to make an impact at both ends of the pitch.
Although discussions are at an early stage, Juventus are monitoring developments closely. Using Muharemovic as part of a swap could represent a shrewd move to bring Frattesi to Turin while maintaining financial balance in their January plans.
