Tiago Djaló is on the brink of leaving Juventus, with a move to Besiktas now close to completion. The Portuguese defender is set to join the Turkish club on a permanent transfer, as negotiations between the two sides enter their final stages.
Sky Sport Italia report (as quoted by ilbianconero) that Besiktas have reached a broad agreement with the player and are working with Juventus to finalize the details of the operation. The deal will see Djaló leave Turin just over a year after signing from Lille in January 2024. Shortly after his arrival, Juventus sent him out on loan to Porto before reassessing his future this summer.
The transfer is expected to bring in around €4 million for Juventus, while Besiktas will secure full ownership of the 2001-born centre-back. For the Istanbul side, Djaló represents a long-term investment to strengthen their defensive line in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Barring late developments, the deal is expected to be made official soon, closing Djaló’s brief chapter with Juventus and giving him a fresh start in Türkiye.
