Tuttosport: Juventus Ready to Secure Yildiz Renewal with Improved Deal

Kenan Yildiz’s rise through 2025 has been one of Juventus’ standout stories. Since Igor Tudor’s appointment last spring, the young Turkish forward has stepped up another level, becoming a central figure in the team’s attack. Now, as 2026 approaches, attention turns to his future — with a new contract on the horizon that could tie him down long-term in Turin.

A Breakthrough Season Under Spalletti

Tuttosport report how Luciano Spalletti has continued Yildiz’s development, trusting him consistently since taking charge. Apart from the Champions League trip to Bodø/Glimt, where the forward came on at halftime to turn the match around, Yildiz has featured in every game under the former Italy coach.

His contribution — three goals and two assists in ten appearances — only tells part of the story. Spalletti values Yildiz’s energy, intelligence, and growing maturity, while their relationship is described as open and demanding. The young forward, far from being overwhelmed, seems to thrive under that pressure.

Renewal Talks Advancing

Contract extension talks have been ongoing for several months at Continassa. Giorgio Chiellini, now part of the club’s management structure, has urged patience, noting that such a deal carries real significance for both Juventus and the player. The new contract will not only secure Yildiz’s future but also reflect his elevated importance and performance level.

A new meeting between Juventus and Yildiz’s father, Engin, is expected in January to finalise details. If all goes to plan, the renewal could be agreed early in the new year.

A Long-Term Vision

The proposed new deal would extend Yildiz’s contract by an additional year beyond the originally planned 2030 expiry, committing him to the club until 2031. This would represent a two-year extension on his current 2029 agreement, further signalling Juventus’ faith in his long-term potential.

Juventus Increase Their Offer

Financially, Juventus appear ready to make a major gesture. After initially offering €4.5 million plus bonuses, the Bianconeri are reportedly willing to raise their proposal to around €6 million per year. Should these figures be confirmed, Yildiz would become one of the club’s top earners, on par with new signing Jonathan David and just behind Dusan Vlahovic — whose contract situation remains uncertain.

The message from Turin is clear: Kenan Yildiz is part of Juventus’ future, and the club is determined to keep him at the heart of their project for years to come.
