Juventus have released an official update on Dusan Vlahovic’s injury, confirming the outcome of the medical examinations and outlining the early expectations for his recovery.
Earlier this morning, the Serbian forward arrived at the J|Medical centre to undergo scans, including an MRI, following the injury he sustained during the recent Juventus–Cagliari match. Vlahovic had left the pitch in visible discomfort, immediately sensing the seriousness of the problem.
The club announced that the tests revealed a high-grade lesion of the musculo-tendinous junction in the long adductor of his left leg. Further medical consultations will be required to determine the most suitable course of treatment.
Recovery Timeframe
While the precise recovery time will depend on the upcoming evaluations, initial indications suggest that Vlahovic could face a lengthy absence from the pitch. The expected recovery period is around three months, though this could be extended if surgery becomes necessary.
This setback represents a significant blow for Juventus and Vlahovic alike, particularly as the striker had been showing signs of returning to form before the injury struck.
