Mirko Vucinic has a clear vision for Vasilije Adzic’s future. The newly appointed Montenegro coach shared his thoughts on the young Juventus player, emphasising the importance of regular playing time for his development.
Vucinic, who only recently began his new journey as head coach of the Montenegrin national team, will count the 2006-born midfielder among his squad members. Adzic, a promising talent from Juventus, has already earned a place in Montenegro’s senior national side, and his coach is keen to see him flourish.
“I Spoke with Tudor”
“I see a fair tactical balance, despite the heavy defeat to Como,” Vucinic said when asked about Juventus’ form. “Tudor is doing his job; there is quality within the group.”
The Montenegrin coach then turned his attention to Adzic: “I have spoken to Tudor a couple of times, mostly about Adzic, who is Montenegrin.”
“Adzic Must Play”
“Advice for Tudor? None, I wouldn’t presume to,” Vucinic continued. “But I believe Adzic needs to go somewhere and play if he isn’t finding space, otherwise he will never mature. He’s an excellent player — a number 8, but also capable of playing as a holding midfielder in front of the defence.”
“At Juventus, You Have to Win”
“When you’re at Juventus, you must always fight to win,” he concluded. “Serie A looks very balanced to me. How to face Real Madrid? With personality — in that stadium, you feel not just a hostile atmosphere but also the weight of the opponent and their history.”
