“Zhegrova Is Really Strong”: New Juventus Signing Impresses Everyone in Training

Start

There is growing excitement around the new-look Juventus, particularly the two late signings completed on deadline day: Lois Openda and Edon Zhegrova. IlBianconero report that of the two, it is the Kosovan winger who has immediately caught the eye at Continassa, impressing both coaches and teammates with his first performances in training.

A Spark from Zhegrova

Having joined the squad a few days earlier than Openda, who only returned from international duty on Tuesday, Zhegrova has already had time to showcase his qualities. Juventus released clips from Igor Tudor’s latest training session, where the entire squad was reunited, and one standout moment featured Zhegrova.

Il Corriere della Sera reports how, In a small-sided game, he combined quick passing with a decisive interception on Koopmeiners, accelerated with the ball at his feet, and capped the move with a composed finish. A flash of brilliance that immediately lit up Juventus supporters and hinted at what he could offer in matches to come.

Teammates Already Convinced

The winger has not only captured the imagination of fans but has also made an immediate impact on those who train alongside him every day. According to reports, several Juventus players have already expressed their admiration for the newcomer, with one remarking: “This one is really strong.”

Match Readiness Against Inter

Zhegrova has not played a competitive match since last December, but the early signs in Turin suggest he is in better physical condition than expected. He completed most of his summer preparation with Lille and, if not for transfer market dynamics, might already have featured in early Ligue 1 matches.

However, starting in the upcoming clash with Inter seems unlikely. Lacking full match fitness, throwing him in from the first minute could be risky, as he does not yet have 90 minutes in his legs. Even so, a place in the squad is drawing closer. With Conceicao dealing with a minor physical issue, Zhegrova’s chances of making his Juventus debut – even if only for a short spell – are increasing.
