“Tudor Until the Club World Cup, Then We’ll Decide”: Juventus CEO Scanavino on the Club’s Future

Start

Juventus CEO Maurizio Scanavino has provided clarity on the club’s direction, addressing the futures of key figures and the broader strategy for the Bianconeri. Speaking to Sportmediaset (as quoted by Calciomercato)  during the Coppa Italia final, Scanavino emphasized stability and targeted growth, ruling out any immediate upheaval.

“The team, when complete, is already very strong and competitive. For the future, we will start from this core group, which is also very young, and we will make targeted additions. Cristiano is working on this and together we are planning for the future. With Giuntoli? Absolutely,”

Calvo’s Next Steps

Scanavino also addressed the situation of Francesco Calvo, Juventus’ Chief Football Officer, who has expressed his desire to pursue new professional challenges. “Actually, Francesco and I have been discussing his future for some time. He has expressed his desire to take on new challenges. We have set a meeting to define the next steps and to allow him to complete important commercial and institutional commitments for this year. He is working very well, and for the responsibilities he has had, he is doing a great job. We will see what happens in the future,” Scanavino explained.

Tudor’s Tenure and Future

Regarding head coach Igor Tudor, Scanavino praised his impact since joining the club. Tudor has had a very positive impact, he is working very well considering the critical moment and the limited squad. We were clear from the start: we will definitely do the Club World Cup together, after which we will decide how to proceed, but for now, we are very satisfied,” he stated.

Chiellini’s Growth

On Giorgio Chiellini, who recently returned to the club in a managerial capacity, Scanavino was optimistic: “He has only been with us for a year and is doing very well. He can definitely grow in that area, and then we will see,” he commented, suggesting that Chiellini’s role could expand as he gains experience.
