Pisa v Juventus

Serie A | Pisa 0-2 Juventus: Player Ratings

Juventus were far from their best but goals from Pierre Kalulu goal and Kenan Yuldiz were enough to secure a vital win against a stubborn Pisa side.

Juventus

Di Gegorio: Had little to do in the first half. More of the same in the second, but he made some questionable decisions. 6.0/10

⭐ Kalulu: Lucky not to be booked for a poor challenge. Ended up breaking the deadlock, being in the right spot at the right time. Solid defensive contribution too. 6.5/10

Bremer: Rarely troubled but looked a little rusty at times. 6.0/10

Kelly: Got forward in the early exchanges but his crosses were wayward. Hit the post with a decent effort in the second half. 6.0/10

Cambiaso: Made some really telling mistakes. A drop in form from his last outing. 5.5/10

Thuram: Saw a lot of the ball in the early part of the game as Pisa sat deep. 6.0/10

Koopmeiners: Had a decent chance on the break but dwelt on the ball too long. A poor overall showing as failed to really impose himself in midfield. 5.0/10

Locatelli: A little subdued and picked up a poor booking. 5.5/10

Mckennie: Energetic but not decisive in the final third. 6.0/10

Yildiz: Almost managed to curl his effort under the far post. Was in the final third but failed to really craft any real chances until late in stoppages when he sealed the result. 6.5/10

Openda: Had a thankless task and while he was a presence in the opposition box, he didn’t have many clear chances. 5.0/10

Spalletti: Stuck with his core players but starting Koopmeiners over Zhegrova seemed questionable in hindsight. Better with his subs who helped see out the same. 6.5/10
