Bremer: “Spalletti Is Always Right” After Monaco Stalemate

A goalless draw between Juventus and Monaco marked last night’s European clash, with Gleison Bremer sharing his thoughts in the mixed zone after the match.

The Brazilian defender admitted Juventus were aiming for more but accepted the result in light of the team’s fatigue and rotation decisions.

“We wanted to win, but there was some tiredness, and we didn’t manage it,” Bremer said. “We made some changes, which made sense for this kind of game. Now we move forward and focus on the match against Parma, which we must win.”

Reacting to Luciano Spalletti’s criticism of the team’s wastefulness, Bremer aligned himself fully with the coach’s assessment.

“When the manager speaks, he’s always right,” he added. “There was mental fatigue too—we made mistakes we don’t usually make. It was evident today, but we have to keep going.”

Bremer also gave an update on his physical condition, acknowledging the intensity of his recent workload following injury recovery.

“I’m a bit tired—since returning from my second injury, I’ve played every match without a rest,” he explained. “I’m feeling good and working well, but I need to manage recovery carefully in training. From now on, every match matters, so I can’t afford to miss any.”

Looking ahead to the knockout stages, the defender insisted there were no preferences when it came to potential opponents.

“No particular preference,” he concluded. “What matters is winning and progressing to the next round.”
