Bremer to DAZN: “Spalletti? His story speaks for itself, I can’t wait to hug Danilo”

Start

Gleison Bremer spoke to DAZN just minutes before kick-off in Juventus’ clash against Lecce, part of the eighteenth round of the Serie A season. Following convincing victories over Bologna, Roma and Pisa, the Bianconeri are now chasing a fourth consecutive league win since the managerial change that brought a new energy to the side.

Reflecting on his personal milestone and current form, Bremer expressed both pride and determination:

“100 matches with Juve, finally. I was out for a year, but what matters is that I’m here with the team now. Today will be tough — we must stay united because these matches are never easy. We absolutely have to win.”

The Brazilian defender admitted he is still regaining full sharpness after his long absence but remains confident that improvement will come with time.

“I need more matches and more training sessions because I’m not at 100% yet, but the best condition will come gradually,” he explained.

Bremer also shared his thoughts on Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti, under whose guidance Juventus have shown new resolve and tactical discipline.

“The coach is very good. His story speaks for itself, and we’re trying to do our best to follow him,” said Bremer.

Finally, he took a moment to express affection and respect for his compatriot and teammate Danilo, currently sidelined but an influential presence within the squad.

“He helped me a lot when I arrived here. He’s a great man and a great player. I can’t wait to hug him,” Bremer concluded.
