Conceição and Bremer to Sky: “We have to win games, Spalletti is very demanding”

After Juventus’ narrow victory over Roma, Francisco Conceição and Gleison Bremer spoke to Sky to analyse a crucial result that moves the Bianconeri within one point of the Giallorossi, who remain fourth in the Serie A table.

Conceição, who scored the decisive goal, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance and focus on maintaining momentum. “We deserved the win, we knew how important this match was,” said the Portuguese winger. “We did our job; we have to stay up there. What we need to do is win games like the last two, but now we must focus on the next one.”

“My injury? We’ll see, but I don’t think it’s anything serious — the important thing was the victory,” said the Portuguese attacker. “The goal? I’m a forward; I have to score and help the team. Today I managed to do that, but what mattered most was winning. Spalletti? We all know what kind of coach he is — he’s intelligent, and the results speak for themselves. We have to keep going like this and win again next week.”

Bremer, who recently returned from injury, discussed his recovery and praised the demanding standards set by coach Luciano Spalletti. “I had this bad injury, but I’ve come back well and worked hard over the last two weeks, also mentally, because I knew I had to be ready,” the Brazilian defender explained. “I couldn’t play the whole match, but that was expected. The important thing was to win. Spalletti is a very demanding coach, and that’s the way it should be — we’re at Juve, and we must always want more. He’s a great coach, and the results of his work are clear on the pitch.”
