Holm: “I Want to Stay at Juventus Beyond the Summer. Beating Inter Would Be a Great Opportunity”

Emil Holm has quickly settled into life at Juventus and made his intentions clear: he hopes to stay in Turin beyond the summer. Speaking to Sky Sport (as quoted by TuttoJuve) just days before the Derby d’Italia against Inter, the Swedish full-back expressed gratitude for the welcome he has received and outlined his ambitions with the Bianconeri.

“Everyone — my teammates, the coach, and the staff — has helped me a lot to feel part of the group,” Holm said. “My goal is to be here even after the summer. I want to give my all every day to stay and help the team as much as possible.”

First Meeting with Spalletti

Holm also revealed a light-hearted detail about his first encounter with Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti. “He told me straight away that his wife is from La Spezia, so he had watched many of my games when I was there. We didn’t talk much, but it went really well,” the defender recalled with a smile.

His Role on the Pitch

When asked about his tactical role, Holm underlined his flexibility and work ethic. “I can play as a full-back or as a wing-back. My job is to push forward, give everything, and keep improving every day,” he explained.

Praise for Yildiz

The Swede also had good words for teammate Kenan Yildiz, highlighting the youngster’s potential. “In my opinion, he’s a really strong player. Having faced him in training, you can see straight away his incredible quality,” Holm said.

Looking Ahead to Inter-Juventus

Finally, attention turned to Saturday’s clash at San Siro against Inter — a key test for Juventus in the title race. “If we win, we can close the gap a little in the table, but the season is still long,” Holm noted. “Of course, winning would be a great opportunity for us.”
