European nights carry a special kind of magic. At 21:00 this evening, the Champions League anthem will echo around the Allianz Stadium as Juventus host Borussia Dortmund in their opening fixture of the competition.
Coach Igor Tudor has just announced the list of players called up for the clash, with two notable names included.
Two new faces for Juventus
Edon Zhegrova has been named among the squad, earlier than expected. Initially, he was predicted to return in time for the league match against Verona, but he has accelerated his recovery and is now available for tonight’s European debut.
Also included is Francisco Conceicao. The Portuguese winger had raised doubts after missing part of yesterday’s open training session, with concerns over his condition. However, Tudor has opted to take him into the matchday squad.
