Juventus have completed another significant outgoing move in this summer’s transfer market, finalizing the sale of Portuguese defender Tiago Djalò to Turkish side Beşiktaş. Following the earlier departures of Mbangula, Weah, and Douglas Luiz, the club adds another profitable deal to its books.
A Short Return to Turin
Djalò spent the past season on loan at Porto before briefly returning to Turin at the start of the summer. However, his stay with the Bianconeri proved short-lived, as Beşiktaş quickly secured his services to strengthen their back line in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Formula
The transfer has been agreed on a permanent basis, meaning that as of August 27, 2025, Tiago Djalò’s registration rights now belong fully to the Istanbul club.
The Numbers
The operation was finalized for a fee of €3.5 million, payable across three financial years. In addition, Juventus could collect up to €1 million in bonuses tied to performance-based conditions.
A Positive Balance Sheet
Beyond the sporting aspect, the transaction also carries financial benefits for Juventus. The club has confirmed that the deal generates a positive economic impact of approximately €1.4 million for the current fiscal year, net of additional costs.
