Until now, Juventus had been missing one final piece to complete their new organisational framework. Marco Ottolini, formerly of Genoa, had been the leading candidate for several weeks, and negotiations have finally produced the anticipated breakthrough.

IlBianconero report that the two parties have reached a verbal agreement and are now working to finalise the remaining formalities. Barring any unexpected developments, Ottolini will soon take up the role of sporting director for the Bianconeri. His stint with Genoa ended in late October, paving the way for this new opportunity in Turin.
Final signatures expected soon
The formal signing of Ottolini’s contract is expected to take place within the next few days. His arrival will complete Juventus’ executive structure, which has already been reinforced in recent months with the additions of Damien Comolli and François Modesto.
