Daniele Rugani has officially returned to Turin following the end of his loan spell at Ajax, just in time to strengthen Juventus ahead of their historic debut in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Ready for the Club World Cup
In just over three weeks, Juventus will make their first-ever appearance in the Club World Cup, facing Al-Ain from the United Arab Emirates in their opening match. The Bianconeri are set to compete in Group G, which also features Manchester City and Wydad Casablanca.
A Reinforced Defence for Tudor
Head coach Igor Tudor, who remains at the helm despite recent tensions following the Venezia match, will now have another option in defence with Rugani’s return. The center-back has wrapped up his loan at Ajax, where he narrowly missed out on the Eredivisie title on the final day of the season.
