Juventus brushed aside Napoli with goals from Jonathan David, Kenan Yildiz and Filip Kostic capping off a dominant display.
Juventus
Di Gegorio: A solid but easy save from Vergara in the opening half. Seldom troubled by the Napoli front line. 6.5/10
Kalulu: Consistent, working in perfect tandem with McKennie, overlapping, getting into the final third. 6.5/10
Bremer: Had the measure of Hojlund for large spells, despite almost giving away a penalty. 6.5/10
Kelly: Very confident, perfect positioning, read the game superbly. Constantly had the better of the Napoli attack, strode forward to support the attack when he could. A vital player to Spalletti. 7.0/10
Cambiaso: Really disappointing at times, dangerous and something of a liability Eventually taken off on the 60′ mark. 5.5/10
Thuram: A hard fought battle in midfield, and he won the early exchanges, playing a brilliant through ball for Cambiaso that almost created a chance. Teed up by Yildiz and was only just denied by the post. Hustled and harried, was excellent alongside Locatelli, one of their best performances as a pairing. 7.5/10
⭐ Locatelli: At the heart of all the best of Juve’s midfield action. Setup Jonathan David with a sublime assist and was relentless in his dominating of the midfield battle. MOTM. Grande Capitano. 8.0/10
Mckennie: Tucked in at RWB when Juve were fighting to win the ball back, but was also a good aerial threat in the box as well, playing just behind the attack. 6.5/10
Conceicao: Back in the starting XI and was an immediate threat, almost curling in a ball under the far post. Had a brilliant chance to double the lead, but was denied by a goal-line clearance. 6.5/10
Yildiz: Was marked out of the game in the early exchanges, but he won a great ball and set up Thuram for what should have been the opener. Made no mistake when capitalising on a Jesus mistake to double the lead. Impeccable. 7.5/10
David: Had a slow-ish start, but he still looked bright and alert – Took his goal with a brilliant finish, despite being sandwiched by two Napoli defenders. 7.0/10
Spalletti: Perfect starting XI, perfect subs, everything perfect. Grande Mister. 8.0/10
