Tether: “We Want to Bring Juventus Back to the Top of World Football”

Start

Tether has reaffirmed its ambition to “restore Juventus to its rightful place, putting the fans at the heart of this journey.” Following the presentation of two candidates for election to the club’s Board of Directors, the company released an official statement outlining its commitment to becoming “a positive force for change within the club — a goal encapsulated in our guiding principle: ‘Make Juventus Great Again’.”

“Since announcing our investment in the club, Tether has listened carefully to the voices of Juventus supporters, both in Italy and abroad, collecting valuable feedback, opinions, and calls for greater involvement,” the statement reads. “We have also proposed several amendments to be voted on at the upcoming shareholders’ meeting — changes designed to modernise the club’s statutes and adopt the highest standards of corporate governance and minority representation.”

Tether emphasised its belief in Juventus’ “unmatched potential among football clubs worldwide.” To fulfil that potential, the company argued, the Bianconeri must strengthen their bond with fans, seize global opportunities, and lead innovation through new technologies and media. “Everything begins with the fans,” Tether stated. “Without a strong and lasting connection with supporters, sustainable success cannot be built.”

In line with this mission, Tether has put forward Francesco Garino as its first candidate for the Juventus Board. The second nominee is Zachary Lyons, Tether’s Deputy Chief Investment Officer, who will work alongside Garino to support the club’s financial and strategic development.

The company also confirmed that Paolo Ardoino, Tether’s CEO, and Juan Sartori, Vice President for Strategic Projects, will continue to oversee the ongoing decision-making and partnership initiatives with Juventus. “This announcement marks a new step in Tether’s mission: to bring Juventus back to the summit of world football — with the fans at the centre of that journey,” the statement concluded
