“Vlahovic Is Not the Striker for Juventus”: Tacchinardi on the Tense Situation Between Player and Club

Start

The relationship between Dusan Vlahovic and Juventus has become increasingly strained, with uncertainty clouding the striker’s future at the club. As negotiations stall and the club waits for the right offer, the gap between Vlahovic’s intentions and Juventus’ plans appears to be widening. The club’s management, led by Comolli, has reportedly identified Jonathan David as the Serbian forward’s potential replacement, but financial complexities continue to complicate any immediate moves.

Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi recently shared his thoughts (as quoted by ilbianconero)  on the matter in an interview with Sportmediaset, expressing concerns about Vlahovic’s current form and mindset, as well as the club’s urgent need for a reliable striker.

Tacchinardi addressed the situation candidly:

“A situation of being separated at home? I hope not, because Juve needs a terribly strong and focused striker, which Vlahovic is not at this moment. Tudor had given him great trust, even comparing him to Osimhen, but instead he is also performing poorly at the Club World Cup. I hope both parties find the right solution; Juve really needs a striker, and Vlahovic at this moment is not that for Juve.”

Tacchinardi also weighed in on potential replacements for Vlahovic, highlighting two names that have been frequently mentioned in recent transfer speculation:

“Replacement? It could be Osimhen, it could be Jonathan David, they are both strong players.”
