As days pass with Dusan Vlahovic remaining in Turin without clear news on his future, AC Milan grow increasingly hopeful of securing the Juventus striker’s signature for coach Massimiliano Allegri. IlBianconero report that while no formal negotiations have yet taken place between the two clubs, connections are stirring, and a potential pathway for a deal is beginning to take shape.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that the simplest solution for both clubs could be a player exchange, involving Vlahovic moving to Milan and defender Malick Thiaw coming the other way to Juventus. This swap deal notion is currently a draft concept that both Juventus and Milan may develop once talks resume.
The transfer corridor between the two clubs has been active since last August, starting with Pierre Kalulu’s move to Juventus and ongoing through various dealings including talks over Tomori and the completed Kalulu transfer in June. Dialogue between Juventus and Milan remains strong and continuous.
The situation with Vlahovic is delicate. Milan is cautious about paying a full transfer fee or high wages since they could sign the striker on a free transfer next year when his contract expires. Negotiations aim to find a deal by the end of August that benefits all parties involved, including the player.
Juventus seeks around €20 million as a transfer fee for Vlahovic to avoid losses, but Milan is reluctant to meet that price outright, making a swap offer with Thiaw an attractive alternative. Union on financial terms and player valuations remains the principal hurdle to finalize an agreement.
