Dusan Vlahovic’s future remains shrouded in uncertainty as his contract with Juventus approaches its expiry. While his immediate focus is on recovering from a serious injury that will sideline him for several months, the Serbian striker’s thoughts inevitably turn to what lies ahead next season.
In Italy, AC Milan continue to monitor his situation closely. Despite no current agreement with Juventus over a renewal, staying in Turin cannot be ruled out entirely. However, several clubs across Europe are beginning to circle in anticipation of a potential free transfer in the summer.
Milan’s Interest Remains Alive
Reports from Spain recently suggested that Milan had already reached an agreement with Vlahovic — claims that Fabrizio Romano has denied. Nevertheless, the Italian journalist confirmed that the Rossoneri hold a strong interest in Juventus’ number nine.
Last summer, Milan explored the possibility of signing Vlahovic before deciding to pursue other attacking options. The club remain in the market for a new striker as early as January, although the Serbian is not an option for the winter window as he continues his recovery, likely until March.
Next summer, however, could be a different story. Should Vlahovic remain a free agent without a club lined up, Milan would be among the main contenders to secure his signature.
Bayern’s Approach
Interest in Vlahovic is not limited to Serie A. Bayern Munich reportedly contacted the player’s entourage in October to explore the feasibility of a move. While those initial talks signalled intent, the German champions have since paused discussions, at least for the time being.
Barcelona Also in the Mix
Barcelona are another major club to have evaluated Vlahovic’s situation. The Catalans made enquiries around the same time as Bayern, seeking clarity over his contractual position and recovery timeline. For now, though, their interest has not progressed beyond those preliminary contacts.
