Yildiz Like Del Piero: The Remarkable Statistic That Places Kenan in Juventus History

Start

On a lively night in Pisa, Juventus claimed their third straight Serie A victory, following wins over Bologna and Roma, to continue their steady climb up the league table.

Kalulu opened the scoring with a close-range finish, and, unsurprisingly, it was Kenan Yildiz who sealed the result with a simple tap-in that allowed Luciano Spalletti’s side to close out a tricky match in complete control.

Yildiz Matches Del Piero

IlBianconero report that with his goal against Pisa, Yildiz has drawn level with none other than Alessandro Del Piero. According to Opta data, the Turkish forward – with 15 Serie A goals to his name at just 20 years and 238 days old – has equalled Del Piero’s tally, placing him sixth among Juventus’ all-time top scorers under the age of 21.

It’s a remarkable achievement that once again highlights the parallels between the young attacker and the Bianconeri legend many see as his natural predecessor. The comparison, both in instinct and finishing ability, continues to give Juventus fans reason to dream.

Juventus’ Top Scorer of the Season

Yildiz’s goal at the Stadio Arena Garibaldi-Cetilar also made him Juventus’ top scorer for the current campaign. The 2005-born forward now sits on seven goals in all competitions, surpassing Dusan Vlahovic, who remains on six.

Yildiz’s Impressive Numbers

Now in his third season with the Juventus first team, Yildiz is achieving standout figures that underline his rapid development and growing influence. Across Serie A, the Champions League, and the Coppa Italia, he has contributed directly to 13 goals in 23 appearances this season.

– 23 appearances
– 20 starts
– 7 goals
– 6 assists
– 1,796 minutes played

Still only 20 years old, Kenan Yildiz continues to leave his mark — and the echoes of Del Piero’s early days in Turin are growing ever stronger.
